iPhone keyboard shortcut

Adding shortcuts to frequently used phrases will save a lot of time. Especially when you have to type something in Arabic, it consumes a lot of time. At least for me, it is so. 🙂

That is why I use keyboard shortcuts to send frequent phrases like salaam as below.

اَلسَّلاَ مُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ

Doing so is quite simple mashaAllah. Follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap General > Keyboards > Text Replacement.
3. From the top right corner tap + icon.
4. Type phrase and shortcut.

That’s it.

Now when you type the shortcut, it will automatically replace with the given phrase as shown below.

Some phrases I use.

• الله
• ما شاء الله‎‎
• إن شاء الله
• جزاك اللهُ خيرًا
• بارك الله فيك
• أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
• بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
• اَلسَّلاَ مُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَا تُهُ
• وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته
• شفاه الله
• شافاك الله
• عيد مبارك
• تقبل الله منا ومنكم
• عليه السلام
• رضي الله عنه
