Today I am going to show you how I made a logo for myself. alhamdulillah.
I decided to create a logo for myself. As I love coding, I thought I would try to give it a code feeling.
After opening Adobe Illustrator with its default canvas, I converted it to a one-by-one canvas.
Double-clicked the hand tool to zoom in the canvas to fit it to the window.
Select the type tool and click on the canvas.
Type less than, forward slash, and a greater than symbol. “</>”.
Drag on corners to increase the size of the symbols.
I first checked one of my favorite font “Roboto” with medium style.
Then I wanted to see if the font “Helvetica” looks good or not. So, I selected Helvetica with Oblique style and I like the Roboto with medium style.
Undo to bring brack the “Roboto” with medium weight style.
Right-click the symbol text and select “create outlines” option.
Right-click the symbols again and ungroup them.
Select all and click “Horizontal align center” from options bar.
Move around the symbols to get a unique feeling. Since I dont know what to do with the slash, I deleted it.
Draw a circle to use as a part of the logo.
Send it behind the symbols by pressing command and curly-bracket.
Fill circle with a light-gray color and change symbols from full black to color code #272727.
That is how I made my logo.
Hope you liked it.
